Every locomotive featured in the 2012 Volume 1 catalog now comes outfitted with Proto-Sound 3.0, the only onboard digital sound and control package that allows users to operate their locomotives in conventional or command mode using AC or DC power with command control protocol choices of DCS and DCC. Most of our Premier Line offerings are equipped with our unique Proto-Scale 3-2 feature which allows the locomotives to operate on 2 or 3-rail track with just a quick flip of a switch.
