August 11, 2006 - M.T.H. Electric Trains has begun shipping its Premier Line O Gauge Pennsylvania A-5 Steam locomotive with deliveries expected to begin reaching M.T.H. Authorized Retailers over the next few days.
A total of seven different liveries of the A-5 were promoted in the 2005 Volume 2 catalog. Production was delayed on the model as initial pre-orders were insufficient to move forward with the project. A second A-5 promotion solicited enough additional orders but did result in a delay in the release of this exciting switch engine.
Like all Premier Line steam locomotives, the A-5 is fully equipped with the awesome sounds and features of Proto-Sound 2.0. Though small in size, the fully synchronized smoke stack puffing and steam sound chuffing and smooth speed control make the M.T.H. A-5 one of the finest steam switchers you'll ever own.
