July 1, 2015 - M.T.H. Electric Trains will be releasing a new HO scale Union Pacific Big Boy in late 2015 to commemorate the now ongoing reconstruction of No. 4014. The all die-cast model will also be available in cab numbers 4005, 4018 and 4023 - each of which is still on display today. No. 4014 can be purchased alone or with a 4-car passenger set at a terrific price.
No. 4014 will also be available in our Signature Series Weathered Finish for those who want to model this American classic as it looked on one of its many journeys throughout the Western routes it so often traversed. First introduced in 2011, Signature Series locomotives and rolling stock feature professionally weathered finishes by a master modeler with more than 30 years of modeling experience. The resulting finish ensures that Signature Series models will look right at home on any fully sceniced and weathered layout.
