November 30, 2020 - If you've been a fan of our Christmas-themed cars over the past ten years, then the 2020 locomotive and caboose set and selection of 2020 add-on cars are the perfect way to build your very own Christmas train or bookend your Christmas car collection no matter whether you've got every car in the series or are just starting out.
The ES44AC and matching Bay Window caboose are colorfully decorated to match most of the "traditional" cars in the collection. Our near-scale model is a full 17" in length, yet operates comfortably on O-31 curves. Under the hood is the very same Proto-Sound 3.0 sound and control package found in our more expensive Premier model of this locomotive, with sounds recorded from the actual prototype. Additional Imperial features include operating diesel exhaust smoke, flashing ditch lights and colorful charging lights running the length of the body. If you're looking for a locomotive to compliment your holiday decor but powerful enough to pull all of our traditional Christmas cars, it doesn't get any better than this!
