Overview

1835E Steam Engine Getting its body from the 385E, the simple presence of the 1835E is sure to spark a conversation. So weave a tale of yesteryear by talking about how this polished black locomotive was born in 1934 and originally made with black boiler bands and shiny nickel trim. This locomotive was produced through 1939. After the first year of its release, the 2-4-2 locomotive came with a 1835T tender. Before that, it borrowed the 384T, the tender that came with the 385E. Don't forget to talk about how, although the 1835E did not come with a chugger, it did sport a whistle in the later years of its production. If you want quality - simply stated - then add this bold cousin of the 385E to your collection. Add a 4-Car Standard Gauge Freight Set to give the 1835E something to pull. It can handle it! Did You Know? By 1926, electric engines were available with or without an automatic reverse unit. The letter E was attached to model numbers to distinguish the locomotives with an automatic reverse unit. Operates on STD-42 Curves
