Making its debut in Lionel's 1936 catalog, the No. 440 Light-Position Twin Signal Bridge and Control Panel allows operators to sit at any distance from the track and still be able to control the vertical and horizontal signal lights. Controlling the passage of trains, the "Proceed" signal is indicated by the vertical lights, while the horizontal lights indicate the "Stop".
